Why I believe the Rapture of the Church
will most likely take place on
September 23, 2015, or
October 6/7, 2015...
When putting a puzzle together, the best way to start is to put the edge pieces together first in order to build the framework for the puzzle. Once the frame is done, you usually start with the pieces that are the biggest and most important looking pieces and work your way down to the more difficult pieces. This is what I’d like to do on this page of my website.
The 7000-year plan of God for mankind
I’d like to start building the framework for this puzzle by talking about the 7000-year plan of God for mankind.
a) God sets a pattern in Genesis of 7 days - 6 days for creation and 1 day of rest.
b) The Millennium is referred to many times as the "rest“.
c) A day is like a 1000 years. Psalm 90:4 says, For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. 2 Peter 3:8 says, But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
d) Another clue is that Hosea 6:1-2 predicts that the restoration of the Jews would occur after 2 "days", which is poised to occur now after 2000 years from Christ’s first coming. "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us; He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence.
The 7,000 year plan of God has been consistent with Jewish thought for thousands of years. The apostle Barnabus was a partner in ministry to the Apostle Paul (Acts 13:2, Acts 14:14). The Epistle of Barnabus written in the 1st Century explicitly tied the 7 days of creation to Psalm 90:4 and the 7,000 year plan of God. From the Epistle of Barnabas chapter 15, verses 3-5:
He speaks of the Sabbath at the beginning of the Creation, "And God made in six days the works of His hands and on the seventh day He made an end, and rested in it and sanctified it." Notice, children, what is the meaning of "He made an end in six days"? He means this: that the Lord will make an end of everything in six thousand years, for a day with Him means a thousand years. And He Himself is my witness when He says, "Lo, the day of the Lord shall be as a thousand years." So then, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything will be completed. "And He rested on the seventh day." This means, when His Son comes He will destroy the time of the wicked one, and will judge the godless, and will change the sun and the moon and the stars, and then He will truly rest on the seventh day.
The Bible teaches that Christ will return to the earth for a second time at the end of 6000 years, counting from the Creation. It also teaches that Christ will return at the beginning of the “third day”, or third Millennium, counting from the time of Christ. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:2
So, where are we? When does the 6000 years end? When does the 2000 years end? Do we count from the birth of Christ or the death and resurrection of Christ? Well, the 2000 year count could be from either the birth or death/resurrection of Jesus, so the count could end anytime between 1995-2034 A.D. Jesus should return to earth at some point during this time period. But what about the 6000 year count? When does that end?
I believe that we can count the years from Adam until the present day and be fairly accurate in our conclusions about when the 6000 years end. The Lord has laid everything out for us in the Scriptures. Have you ever wondered why the Bible records the ages of people all the way back to Adam? Or why it records the number of years the Kings of Israel ruled? The Lord was giving us the numbers so that we could COUNT the years from Creation and KNOW the approximate time of when the 6000 years would end.
We must keep in mind that when the Bible says that Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born, or that Lamech was 182 years old when Noah was born, that it doesn’t mean that they turned that age on the day of their son's birth. In many cultures, including Jewish culture, when someone turns 30, they are considered to be in their 31st year, therefore they consider them to be 31, as opposed to our own culture where we would say they are only 30. In Jewish culture and most ancient cultures, when a baby is born, they were already considered to be ONE; therefore, on what we would call their "first birthday", they would say the child is turning TWO. The same can be surmised when it says a king reigned 45 years, that it is mostly likely saying his term ended in the 45th year, not that he completed 45 full years.
It is crucial that we understand this in order to correctly count the years as laid out in the Bible. If we only count 130 + 150 + 90, etc., we will reach the end of 6000 years somewhere in the 1990’s. Obviously, we are past that time and Jesus has not yet returned to earth, so we must understand how the Jewish culture counts years in order to correctly count the years as laid out to us in the Bible. So, when the Bible says that Adam was 130 years when Seth was born, we must understand that he was in his 130th year, therefore he could have completed between 129 years to 129 years and 364 days. Since we do not know exactly his age, we should count that on average, he had completed 129.5 years of living.
The one number you may have a problem understanding is that Terah was in his 130th year when Abraham was born. Genesis 11 mentions that Terah lived 70 years and then gave birth to 3 sons, listing Abraham as the first. However, Abraham was not the eldest of these three sons. Stephen tells us in the book of Acts that Abraham did not leave Haran until after Terah died. Genesis 12 tells us that Abraham was 75 when he left Haran and that his father was 205 years old when he died. We simply need to subtract 75 from 205 to understand that Terah was in his 130th year when Abraham was born. The New Testament helps us to properly understand the Old Testament, and together the Old and New Testaments make up what we call the written Word of God.
I encourage you to go through these numbers in the Bible and verify them for yourselves. If you add them up, you will see that from Creation until the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem in 586 BC, there were right around 3400 years. Adding 585 to that reaches 1 BC. Then adding 2015 years to that number, and you will see that we are right at the end of the 6000 year mark, give or take a few years. We are right there. This is the outer framework of this puzzle. From here, let’s start with some of the major pieces. These pieces include the 70 weeks of Daniel and the Year of Jubilee.
The 70 Weeks of Daniel
In Daniel 9, we see a prophecy given about 70 weeks that are determined to take place. Each of these weeks represents a period of 7 years, so a total of 490 years. The first 69 weeks have already been fulfilled. Daniel was told that from the issuing of the order to rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah comes, there will be 69 weeks, or 483 years. Most scholars believe these first 69 weeks were 360 day prophetic years, which totaled 476 solar years. The commandment to restore and build Jerusalem was given by Artaxerxes Longimanus on March 14, 445 B.C. When we examine the period between March 14, 445 B.C. and April 6, 32 A.D., the day Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem riding on a donkey, we discover that it is 173,880 days exactly, to the very day! This was exactly 483 years of 360 days.
Daniel is then told that the Messiah will be cut off. After this, at some point in the future, the 70th week of Daniel will begin with the confirming, or strengthening, of a covenant or pledge or promise or agreement with many. This final 7 years will begin a countdown that leads us to the Day of Atonement. Daniel 9:24 says, “Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.” The end of this 70 weeks leads us to the Day of Atonement. We know that right in the middle of this final 7-year countdown, that this person who strengthens his covenant with many will stand in the holy place where he does not belong. We also know that this holy place will be a fortress-like structure that has been desecrated by armed forces, according to Daniel 11:31.
Before we go further into this, let’s go back to the Year of Jubilee and one more important clue about the 70 weeks in Daniel. The first 69 weeks are actually divided into two numbers for us. 7 weeks and 62 weeks. I believe the Lord intentionally did this so that it would read like this: So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks. It then goes onto mention the 62 weeks. But if we just stop reading right there, we have this 7 weeks, or 49 year period, from when Jerusalem starts to be rebuilt. Jerusalem was recaptured on June 7, 1967. This was the last time the land that rightfully belonged to Israel was given back to her. If we count off 49 prophetic years of 360 days from this time, we come to September 23, 2015, the Day of Atonement.
I believe the pieces of the puzzle point to the fall of 2015 as the time for the Rapture to occur. Let’s go back and look more carefully at this 70th week of Daniel. There was one day of the year when the Jewish people looked in anticipation for their Messiah to arrive. On this day, they would wave palm branches and reenact the Battle of Jericho. They would cry out, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!” This was on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. 4 ½ years ago, on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Mr. Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner. He was chosen as the “Prince of Peace.” Two months later, just a few hours before the start of the 24th day of Kislev on the Jewish calendar, he was given the award in Norway. The night before this took place, a strange spiral appeared in the sky above Norway: There are 2 dates mentioned in Haggai 2 regarding the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth and bringing the desired of all nations to Himself (Rapture). These 2 dates are the 7th day of Tabernacles and the 24th of Kislev. The pledge/agreement/covenant that Obama made to be the peace maker of the world was strengthened with many on these 2 dates. I believe that this was the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 and started the 70th week of Daniel.
Daniel is then told that in the middle of this 7-year period, this one who confirmed, or strengthened his covenant with many, would set up an abomination that causes desolation. Jesus expounds on this for us by telling us that this event would involve someone standing in the holy place where he does not belong. Daniel is shown that from the time this abomination was set up there would be 1290 days. He is also told that this would take place at a fortress-like structure that armed forces had desecrated. So, let’s put all of these clues together and see how they were fulfilled on March 22, 2013.
Exactly 1260 days after Mr. Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner, he went and stood in the holy place, the very spot where Jesus, the third temple, was born on earth. This was the place where the Son of God first made His appearance on the earth as a baby. This place is now a fortress-like structure, and it was desecrated by armed forces in April 2002, when the daily events at the church were stopped during that time. Everyday at the Church of the Nativity, there is a schedule of events. From early morning until evening, people are continually coming into the Church, kneeling in front of the grotto, the place where it is believed that Christ was born. Sometimes the line to get to the grotto can be very long for people waiting. People come from all over the world to kneel at the grotto and offer prayers and offerings of their gratitude to God for sending His Son. Sacrifices and offerings of praise and thanksgiving to Christ are given there daily. These sacrifices and offerings were stopped when Mr. Obama came to the Church of the Nativity. The entire area of Manger Square was cleared out to accommodate for Mr. Obama’s visit. The daily mass that takes place at 1:30 pm was stopped, and quite likely other masses that take place earlier in the day as well. Daniel 9:27 tells us that the offerings and sacrifices shall be stopped, or they shall desist, which means to hold back from or to keep from happening. Daniel 12:11 tells us that from the time the "daily" is put aside or turned away from and the abomination is set up, there will be 1290 days. 1290 days from March 22, 2013, brings us to the Feast of Trumpets in 2016.
I know that many of you have been told that the final 7 years will begin with the signing of a peace treaty and that the temple in Israel will be rebuilt and in the middle of this 7-year period, the antichrist will stop the animal sacrifices taking place in this temple and declare that he is god. And this could be one possible interpretation of how the Scriptures could be fulfilled.
The problem is that the Lord never seems to fulfill His prophecies in a way that everyone is expecting. When Christ first came to earth, all of the Jewish people were expecting their Messiah at that time. They were looking for Him. They knew the 69 weeks of Daniel were about to end and they were anticipating their Messiah to show up any day. Yet, almost all of them missed Him when He came – especially the religious leaders. They had too many preconceived ideas of what the Messiah was supposed to be that they missed Him. And today also, most Christians are unaware of the times in which we live because they are so certain that a temple must first be built in Israel and a 7-year peace treaty signed. Most believers also think the rapture takes place before all of these events, so there is little need to watch for the prophecies to be fulfilled before the Rapture occurs.
The Lord gave us numbers to count for a reason. The main 3 numbers are 1260, 1290 and 1335 days. He told us that if we were not watching, the thief could come and break into our house, but if we were watching, we would not be surprised at when the thief would come. We would be prepared and ready, and the Lord would find us worthy to escape all that is coming on the earth.
The fact is that the Lord is not looking for a third temple to be built. He does not dwell in a temple built by human hands. His desire was always to live inside of us and that was accomplished when Christ died, making a way for His Spirit to dwell with us and we are part of the third temple that He is building. When Mr. Obama went and stood in the holy place where he did not belong, he was making a statement to the world and to God. He went there to defy God and declare that he is the one that is now being worshiped as the prince of peace.I believe the 70th week of Daniel began in October 2009, when Mr. Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This was the one day of the year when the Israelites expected their Messiah to come and they would cry out, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord” as they waved palm branches and reenacted the Battle of Jericho. Mr. Obama’s covenant to be a peacemaker for the world was strengthened on that day with many. 1260 days later, he stood in the holy place where he did not belong, exactly 1290 days before the Feast of Trumpets in 2016. Daniel was told that from the time the abomination was set up, there would be 1290 days. There are 2 other counting of days mentioned. These are 1260 and 1335 days.
I believe the appointed time for the Rapture to take place was on May 1, 2013. 40 days after the abomination was set up was the scheduled desolation, which was to include the Rapture on May 1, 2013. This was the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea into their Promised Land and Sudden Destruction came on Egypt (representing the world). It was the day when the walls of Jericho fell and the people ascended at the sound of the last trumpet. It was also the day when Peter was set free from prison when an angel came to rescue him. All 3 of these events foreshadow the rapture taking place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. May 1, 2013, was 1260 days before the Day of Atonement in 2016 and 1335 days before the start of Hanukkah in 2016. Daniel told us that those who reach the end of the 1335 day would be blessed and Haggai 2 tells us that the blessed day is the 24th day of Kislev, Hanukkah Eve. May 1, 2013, was also the day when the Catholics crowned the Virgin Mary, and the elite crowned the New World Trade Center, both a mockery of the crowning of the virgin Bride of Christ.
Ninevah was given a 40-day warning of judgment, but the Lord who is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, held off His judgment. I believe this was a foreshadow of the Lord holding off, or delaying His judgment on the world that He so deeply loves that was scheduled to happen 40 days after the abomination was set up. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. He keeps giving the world warning after warning, sign after sign, trying to wake us out of our slumber.
Jesus told us that the days would be shortened in order that some flesh might be saved. In Matt 25 and Rev 10, He warns us that the Bridegroom will be delayed. So, how long is the delay?
If the Lord is taking the 1260 and 1335 day counts that were supposed to have started on May 1, 2013, and He is shortening them altogether, I believe that the Scriptures point to the Day of Atonement in 2015 as the start of the Year of Jubilee for the raptured saints. This would start the “Day of the Lord.” Each day of Daniel’s 70th week is equal to a year. There are numerous verses in the Bible that refer to the “Day of the Lord.”
The Day of the Lord
2 Peter 3: But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
Zephaniah 1:7 - Be silent before the Sovereign LORD, for the day of the LORD is near. The LORD has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited.
Zephaniah 1:14-18 - "The great day of the LORD is near-- near and coming quickly. Listen! The cry on the day of the LORD will be bitter, the shouting of the warrior there. That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness, a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. I will bring distress on the people and they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like filth. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the LORD's wrath. In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth."
Revelation 6: I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
Ezekiel 30:3 - For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near-- a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.
Acts 2:20 - The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
Joel 2 - Blow a trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm on My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,
For the day of the Lord is coming;
Surely it is near,
A day of darkness and gloom,
A day of clouds and thick darkness…
They rush on the city,
They run on the wall;
They climb into the houses,
They enter through the windows like a thief.
Before them the earth quakes,
The heavens tremble,
The sun and the moon grow dark
And the stars lose their brightness.
The Lord utters His voice before His army;
Surely His camp is very great,
For strong is he who carries out His word.
The day of the Lord is indeed great and very awesome,
And who can endure it?
“I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth,
Blood, fire and columns of smoke.
“The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood
Before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
“And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered;
For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
There will be those who escape,
As the Lord has said,
Even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.
Matthew 24:22 - And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
Why is the devil so furious? I believe it is because his 42 months have been shortened down to just 1 year – the Day of the Lord, the final day of Daniel’s 70th week. What takes place before the Day of the Lord begins? The sun is darkened and the moon turns to blood. Because the Jewish calendar was off by a month last year, there is a blood moon for three years in a row on the first day of Passover and the first day of Tabernacles, in 2013, 2014, and 2015. There is also a solar eclipse on the start of the Biblical New Year and start of the Jewish New Year in 2015. The final lunar eclipse of this series takes place in the fall of 2015. I believe this will begin the Day of the Lord.
The Year of Jubilee
The Year of Jubilee always starts on the Day of Atonement. Leviticus 25 says, “The Lord then spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I shall give you, then the land shall have a sabbath to the Lord. Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its crop, but during the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord; you shall not sow your field nor prune your vineyard. Your harvest’s aftergrowth you shall not reap, and your grapes of untrimmed vines you shall not gather; the land shall have a sabbatical year. All of you shall have the sabbath products of the land for food; yourself, and your male and female slaves, and your hired man and your foreign resident, those who live as aliens with you. Even your cattle and the animals that are in your land shall have all its crops to eat. You are also to count off seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven sabbaths of years, namely, forty-nine years. You shall then sound a ram’s horn abroad on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the day of atonement you shall sound a horn all through your land. You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family. You shall have the fiftieth year as a jubilee; you shall not sow, nor reap its aftergrowth, nor gather in from its untrimmed vines. For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat its crops out of the field."
The Lord told us to start counting this 49 years from the time that the Israelites come into the land which He would give them. Israel recaptured Jerusalem on June 7, 1967. 49 years of 360 prophetic days from that date ends right on the Day of Atonement in 2015. Exactly on the Day of Atonement in 2015. To the very day. Just as the first 69 weeks of Daniel were fulfilled to the very day, using 360 day prophetic years, so I believe the 49 weeks that lead to the Day of Atonement and start of the Year of Jubilee will be fulfilled to the exact day using 360 day prophetic years. I believe this will be the Year of Jubilee for the Raptured saints, the Day of the Lord, the final year of Daniel’s 70th week. I believe the 1260 days were supposed to have started on May 1, 2013, and ended on the Day of Atonement in 2016. I believe the 1335 days were to have also started on May 1, 2013, and ended on the first day of Hanukkah in 2016, which is Christmas Day. Mr. Obama told us that he will win the war on Christmas. I still believe that the Second Coming of Christ will take place on Hanukkah 2016, right on Christmas Day. Those who were left behind to endure the Great Day of the Lord, but who come to faith in Christ during this time will be crowned together with the Raptured saints as Queen of the Earth on the 7th day of Hanukkah and we will rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years. I believe the New Millennium begins on January 1, 2017.
The beautiful Queen Vashti rejected the King on the 7th day of a feast and 4 years later, the chosen virgin Esther was crowned as Queen on the 7th day of Hanukkah. I believe this represents America the Beautiful choosing Mr. Obama as their president for a second time on the 7th day of Tabernacles on God’s calendar in 2012. 4 years after election day in 2012, the 7th day of Hanukkah will be December 31, 2016. I believe this is when the left-behind saints who were killed during the coming Tribulation will be crowned along with the firstfruits who were taken 1 year earlier at the rapture. I believe that January 1, 2017, will begin the New Millennium, the 8th and final day of Hanukkah. I still believe that the Second Coming of Christ to the earth will take place on Christmas Day in 2016, Kislev 25, just as Judas Maccabees rode into Jerusalem on Kislev 25, after fighting the evil King Antiochus IV and the people waved palm branches and cried out, “Hosanna, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” This was the start of the Feast of Hanukkah 200 years before Christ’s death and resurrection. I believe this was a foreshadow of Christ returning to earth on the 25th of Kislev after defeating the Antichrist.
Calculations from the Scriptures
I would like to go over some calculations mentioned in the Scriptures to show how the puzzle pieces fit together to point to September 23, 2015, the Day of Atonement, as the start of the days of darkness and the Jubilee Year for the Raptured saints. I am personally looking at this date as the most likely day for the rapture to take place according to the Scriptures and how the puzzle pieces fit together.
In Ezekiel 4, we see how the Lord commanded Ezekiel to lay on his left side for 390 days in relation to how long the Lord would punish Israel. This 390-day count might have been another foreshadow of the 390 days between the Day of Atonement in 2015, and the first day of Tabernacles in 2016.
We also see a prophecy in Revelation 8 that reads, “The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.” For almost 2 years, I have felt that this was a significant part of the puzzle, but have not really been sure of its meaning. I would like to suggest that this may be referring to only 1/3 of the days being darkened, or only 1/3 of the Tribulation time being the Great Tribulation, at the Day of the Lord. We are all going through tribulation on this earth, as Jesus warned us that we would. But the time of Great Tribulation is what the believers can be spared from. Jesus told us to pray that we would be found worthy to escape all of these things that will come upon the earth and to stand before the Son of Man. I believe this is the Rapture event and that it takes place immediately before the Great Tribulation starts, which I believe has been shortened to only 1/3 of the days, in fulfillment of the 4th trumpet judgment.
Jesus seems to imply in Matthew 24 that the desolation occurs immediately after the abomination is set up. He warns those living in Judea to flee to the mountains immediately, and not even go back in their house to get their coats or belongings. He then goes on to tell us that unless these days of Great Tribulation are shortened, no flesh would survive. The Lord also told us in Matthew 25 and Revelation 10 that the Bridegroom would be delayed. The first delay was 40 days and pointed to May 1, 2013, or Mayday, which started the 1260 and 1335 day counts mentioned in Scripture. But again, we see that just as Ninevah was told that judgment would come after 40 days, but then nothing took place, so also God’s judgment did not begin on May 1, 2013. This was the true 7th day of Unleavened Bread on God’s calendar, when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea to get to their Promised Land, when the walls of Jericho fell at the sound of the last trumpet and when Peter escaped from prison when an angel rescued him. All 3 of these events foreshadow the rapture taking place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread and May 1, 2013, was 1260 days before the Day of Atonement in 2016 and 1335 days before the start of Hanukkah in 2016, which I believe is the appointed time for the Second Coming of Christ to the earth as foreshadowed by Judas Macabees riding into Jerusalem on the first day of Hanukkah to cleanse and rededicate the temple to the Lord. Jonah mentions that judgment did not happen after 40 days because the Lord is a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity. The Lord is delaying His coming in order that more people will come into His Kingdom and be eternally saved. Once the Day of the Lord begins, billions of people will be killed in a very short period of time, and most will not have another chance to receive Christ.
If we count right from the abomination being set up on March 22, 2013, until the first day of Hanukkah in 2016, which I believe will be the Second Coming of Christ to earth right on Christmas Day, we have a total of 1374 days. If we divide that number by 3, or 1/3, we have 458 days of darkness. Now, counting from September 24, 2015, the day after the Day of Atonement in 2015, until Hanukkah 2016, we have 458 days. This is exactly 1/3 of the days counting from the Abomination being set up on March 22, 2013, which Jesus alluded to as the start of the desolation, until Hanukkah 2016, the very end of the Great Tribulation. Could the Scriptures be saying that only 1/3 of the days appointed for tribulation will be darkened? In other words, is the Scripture pointing us to the Great Tribulation only being 1/3 of the appointed time?
March 22, 2013, to December 25, 2016 = 1374 days
1374 X 1/3 = 458 days
September 24, 2015, to December 25, 2016 = 458 days
Has the Great Tribulation been shortened to 1/3 of the days in fulfillment of Revelation 8? Have the days of darkness that will come upon the earth been shortened to 1/3 in fulfillment of the 4th trumpet judgment?
It has been difficult for me to grasp how the Scriptures can clearly state that certain events will last for 1260 days, or 42 months, and then to say that these numbers are simply shortened. I have thought, well then, the prophecies are not being fulfilled, right? If we just take one Scripture verse, and do not allow all of the other verses to go with it, then it’s like taking one piece of a puzzle and saying that we can see the whole puzzle clearly just from that one piece. I believe the Scriptures interpret other Scriptures and we must put all of them together to get a clear picture of what the prophecies are truly pointing to. These have been the 2 questions I have been asking myself: If the Lord just shortens the days to a less number, how are the prophecies of days then fulfilled? On the other hand, if there are still 1260 and 1335 days, how then are the days shortened, because Jesus clearly told us that the days would be shortened and the Bible tells us that the Bridegroom will be delayed?
I have come to the conclusion that just as Ninevah was told that it would be destroyed in 40 days, but then it was not, so also the Lord has put these numbers in the Scriptures for us to show us how gracious and compassionate He truly is. He could have desolated the earth on March 22 or 23, 2013, immediately after the abomination was set up. But He didn’t. He could have desolated the earth on May 1, 2013, 40 days later, and left us so many Scriptures that point to this time period as the desolation event. But He didn’t. He could have. It would not have violated the prophecies. It would have fulfilled the prophecies given in the Scriptures. But He waited. He gave us other Scriptures that show us how the Bridegroom will be delayed and that the Lord will shorten the days of Great Tribulation that were appointed to happen. I believe He shows us in Revelation 8 that only 1/3 of the days are darkened, which points us directly to the Day of Atonement in 2015. If the Great Tribulation begins on September 24, 2015, the day after the Day of Atonement, then the Great Tribulation time is exactly 1/3 of the number of days it would have been if the desolation and rapture event would have taken place on March 22, 2013. Please do the calculations on these things and you will see how amazing these calculations are. The Lord has this amazing 49 prophetic year count that starts on June 7, 1967, the last time that Israel was given back her land, and ends exactly on the Day of Atonement in 2015. He explains in Leviticus 25 how that the Day of Atonement begins the Year of Jubilee, at the end of 49 years from when Israel is given back her land. He breaks down the 69 weeks of Daniel into 2 sections, to again highlight this 49 year period that starts with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem. He gives us numerous verses throughout the Old and New Testaments that speak of the "Day of the Lord", which implies the final year of the 70th week of Daniel. Each day in Daniel’s 70th week is equal to one year, so that final Day of the Lord is the final year of this period. He teaches us the principle of the Sabbath, which again, if Daniel’s 70th week is 7 years in length, the Sabbath for the Raptured Saints begins on the Day of Atonement after 6 days, which is 6 years. He shows us over and over in the Scriptures how the sun is darkened and the moon turns to blood before this day comes and then He puts blood moons right on the first day of Passover and Tabernacles for 3 years in a row and tops it off with a solar eclipse right at the start of the Biblical and Jewish New Year in 2015. When we put all of the pieces together and in place, they perfectly fit to point to September 23, 2015, the exact end of the 49 prophetic years from when Jerusalem was recaptured, the Day of Atonement that starts the Jubilee Year for the raptured believers.
I know it is hard to wrap your mind around the idea that there will not be 1260 days of Tribulation, that the Antichrist will not be given 42 months to reign, and that the 2 witnesses do not have 1260 days of ministry. It is also difficult for me to grasp this as well, when it is stated so clearly in the Scriptures. But just as it appears in Genesis 11 to show that Terah was 70 years old when Abraham was born, but then we see in the New Testament that Stephen explains to us that he was actually 130 years old when Abraham was born, so we need the help of all of the Scriptures to put all of the pieces together and see the whole picture. And I believe that if we take all of the Scriptures and clues hidden within them and put all of the pieces together and in place, what we see is that the Great Tribulation was to have lasted for 3 ½ years. It was the appointed time given for the Great Tribulation. But the Lord, in His grace and mercy, has shortened these days to just one year in length, the Great Day of the Lord. He has shortened them to just 1/3 of the time that they could have lasted for. And I believe that this is why the devil is so full of fury when he finally is allowed his chance to destroy the world. He also thought that he would be given 3 ½ years, but will only be allowed by God to have his way for just one year. He knows that his time is short – and it is much shorter than what he had thought it would be.
Why would the Lord do this? Because He is love. God is not just loving or full of love. He is love. He loves each one of His creation and does not want any of them to perish without first accepting His free gift of salvation. He loves the lost soul more than you even love your own child. Would you not want Him to extend the full amount of mercy possible in order that your child might come into the Kingdom? How much more does He desire this than us? He is waiting for more souls to come into His Kingdom. Everyday, tens of thousands of people come into the Kingdom of God around the world. One website estimates the number to be as many as 100,000 people everyday are being born into the Kingdom of God through faith in Christ. If it had been Jonah, he would have killed the entire population of Ninevah after 40 days. But the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. He sees all things and wants to give the maximum possible time for people to come to Him in repentance because once the Great Tribulation does begin, it will simply be too late for millions, possibly billions, of souls. They will die at the start of the Great Tribulation. They will not have another chance.
Over the last year and a half, I have pointed to numerous dates that would have fulfilled the prophecies concerning the timing of the rapture to occur. And I could continue to point to more dates over the next year and a half, because there are many dates that could still fulfill the Scriptures. But I have asked the Lord to please let me see where this puzzle ends because I do not want to continue pointing to dates and then have people disappointed, including myself. As I sat down to write, I was actually planning to just point to September 23, 2015, as one possibility of many that I could see for the rapture to happen. But the Lord just began to point me very clearly to this date, so this is the date I am pointing to because I believe it is where the puzzle leads us to. We should always be ready for the rapture to take place at any time, just as we should be ready to die at any moment. Our next breath is not guaranteed. Some of you watching this video will not be alive in September 2015 and will meet the Lord much sooner than that. This is not meant to convince you or anyone of a date for the rapture to occur. I write this in hope that someone who has read this who may be left behind or perhaps someone taken in the rapture who left this information for friends and family who were left behind will see how the Scriptures pointed to this time period as the start of the Great Tribulation and Day of the Lord and that they will turn to faith in Christ as they see how the prophecies pointed to this particular date.
There is one more possible date I would like to mention that we should be looking at if the Rapture does not take place on September 23, 2015.
October 6/7, 2015
I want to point out one other possible date to watch for the Rapture to occur and that would be October 6 or 7, 2015. So far, I have pointed only to September 23, 2015, the Day of Atonement, as the time for the Rapture. I believe that is the most likely day to watch, the start of the Year of Jubilee. However, from my study of the Jewish Feasts and the prophecies of the end times, there is one other date that stands out as a real possibility if the Rapture does not take place right on September 23, 2015. I personally believe that if the Rapture does not take place on that date, then something really major will probably happen as a sign of what is about to happen in 2 weeks from that date.
In Joel 2, we read about the Day of the Lord. Peter quotes from this verse on Pentecost, mentioning that the sun will be darkened and the moon turn to blood BEFORE the great and glorious Day of the Lord. The final blood moon does not occur until the start of the Feast of Tabernacles on September 28, 2015. This leads me to believe that it is possible that the Rapture and Day of the Lord will start just after September 28, 2015, rather than just before it.
Here are some verses from Joel 2 that we should look at more closely:
Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the portico and the altar… The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.
On the Day of Atonement, the Jewish people fast, as mentioned in Joel 2. The sacred assembly would point us then to the 8th day of Tabernacles, when there is a solemn assembly and the people are consecrated to the Lord. In a traditional Jewish wedding, the Bride and Bridegroom do not leave their wedding chamber until the 7th day of the wedding, when the veil of the Bride is removed and her identity would be revealed to the waiting guests, many of whom would not even know her identity until that time. This would point us to the 7th day of Tabernacles. I would like to look a little deeper into the 7th and 9th day of Tabernacles and what I believe are signs that point us directly to the end of October 6 and beginning of October 7, 2015, as a time to watch.
It was on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles that the Jewish people would re-enact the Battle of Jericho by marching around the altar 7 times blowing trumpets and then at the sound of the last trumpet, they would throw the branches they were holding into the fire and have a huge celebration in remembrance of the walls of Jericho falling. The walls of Jericho fell on the 21st day of the first Biblical month of Aviv, which was the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. This was the same day that the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and sudden destruction came on the Egyptians and the day when Peter escaped from prison when an angel rescued him. The Israelites commemorate the walls of Jericho falling on the 21st day of the Jewish New Year, on the 7th day of Tabernacles. It was also on the 7th day of Tabernacles that the people would cry out, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!” It was a day when the Jewish people would look for their Messiah to come. It was on this day in 2009, when Mr. Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner, which I believe started the 70th week of Daniel, when Mr. Obama’s covenant or agreement with the world to be the peacemaker was strengthened.. The world chose Mr. Obama as their “Prince of Peace” while they have rejected the true “Prince of Peace” who is Jesus.
When the Jewish people were scattered to all different nations around the earth, they began to celebrate a ninth day of Tabernacles. This is because they were not certain on which day was the true start of the Jewish New Year because of the New Moon sighting being different in different places. Rather than take the risk of being off by a day or two, the Jewish people decided to add a 9th day to the Feast and celebrate it in a very similar way as the 7th day of Tabernacles. It is called Simchat Torah, and is the most festive day of the year for the Jewish people. They stay up all night dancing and take the scrolls out of the ark and dance with them 7 times around the altar.
And so today, we are still uncertain whether the Lord uses the pre-set timing of the New Moon to start the Jewish month, or the sighting of the New Moon. This can cause the Jewish festivals to be off by a day or two from when they are celebrated on God’s calendar. This is why the Jewish people now celebrate the Feast of Trumpets for 2 days instead of 1. The final trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets is blown at the end of the 2nd day of their month.
In Daniel 10, we read about how the Lord was delayed in coming to Daniel for 21 days and appeared to him on the 24th day of the first month. The first month in Israel is called Aviv or Nisan, but the Jewish people have two New Years. One is called the Biblical New Year that starts in Aviv, and the other is called the Jewish New Year that starts in the fall on the Feast of Trumpets. It is on the 15th day of both of these months that a 7-day feast begins – the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Tabernacles. The big day for these 2 feasts is the 7th day. It was on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread when many historical events took place that point to a great deliverance for the Israelites, and it was on the 7th day of Tabernacles that the Israelites celebrate these events and look for a new deliverance to occur in the future with the appearing of their Messiah.
If God’s calendar is going by the sighting of the New Moon rather than the timing, then the true 7th day of Tabernacles in Israel will most likely be on October 6, 2015. October 7, 2015, would then be the 24th day of the month on the Jewish calendar, but only the 22nd day of the month on God’s calendar, the 8th day of Tabernacles, the time of the Great Assembly. The Feast of Tabernacles is known as the Feast of Harvest or Ingathering, the last time that firstfruits could be brought to the temple and officially be declared. October 6, 2015, would mark the most festive day of the year for the Jewish people, Simchat Torah, where the people dance throughout the night and party until the morning. It is right after this day, that the Jewish people leave their tents to return to their permanent homes. Paul makes reference in 2 Corinthians 5 to our earthly bodies being like tents that one day will be replaced by a new, immortal body, another Scripture pointing us to the end of the Feast of Tabernacles as the time when the Raptured saints leave their earthly tents.
In Amos 5 we read, “Alas for you who desire the day of the Lord! Why do you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness, not light; as if someone fled from a lion, and was met by a bear; or went into the house and rested a hand against the wall, and was bitten by a snake. Is not the day of the Lord darkness, not light, and gloom with no brightness in it? I hate, I despise your festivals, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies. Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; and the offerings of well-being of your fatted animals I will not look upon. Take away from me the noise of your songs; I will not listen to the melody of your harps.
Here we see this time period again only referred to as a day, which would be the final year of the 70th week of Daniel. These verses mention how the Lord hates these religious festivals and solemn assemblies. According to these verses, it would make sense for the Lord to bring His judgment immediately after the Jewish people have their most festive day of the year and stay up all night dancing and celebrating.
Going back to Daniel 10, we see the Lord appears to Daniel on the 24th day of the first month after a 21-day delay. October 7, 2015, will be the 24th day of the first month of the Jewish New Year. There are some parallels between Daniel 10 and Revelation 19.
Daniel 10: On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude… “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
Revelation 19: After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power to our God, for his judgments are true and just; he has judged the great whore who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” Once more they said, “Hallelujah! The smoke goes up from her forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, and all who fear him, small and great.”
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunderpeals, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready; to her it has been granted to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”
It was on the 7th day of Tabernacles that the people would cry out “Hallelujah!” This is known as Hoshana Rabbah, or the Great Hosanna Day. We see in Daniel 10 that the Lord’s voice sounds like a great multitude. Then in Revelation 19, we again hear the voice of a great multitude at the start of the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. Daniel heard this voice that sounded like a multitude on the 24th day of the first month, which on the Jewish calendar would be October 7, 2015, counting from the start of the Jewish New Year. On God’s calendar, this would very likely be the 8th day of Tabernacles, which is the Day of the Great Assembly.
We see on October 7, that the meteor shower in the Draco constellation peaks. This brings us back to Revelation 12, where we again see the number 1/3 and the Dragon sweeping the stars out of the sky with his tail. The meteor shower on this day makes it appear that stars are falling out of Draco the dragon’s tail. Michael is there in Revelation 12 fighting the dragon, just as he was in Daniel 10. The number 1/3 points us back to 1/3 of the time allotted for the Great Tribulation being darkened.
If we count from May 1, 2013, the 7th day of Unleavened Bread on God’s calendar, to the first day of Hanukkah on December 25, 2016, the blessed day, we have 1335 days. If we multiply that number by 1/3, we have 445 days. If we count from October 7, 2015, to the start of Hanukkah in 2016 on Christmas day, there are 445 days. This would mean that the 1335 days would be shortened by exactly 1/3 as a fulfillment of Revelation 8:12 – “A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.” If we look at the original words used in the Greek language for day and night there, the word for day can also mean time and the word for night can also mean time when work ceases or time of death or time of darkness. The word for darkened can also mean covered with darkness. So, it could read like this: “1/3 of the time was covered with darkness, and also 1/3 of the time when work ceases at the time of darkness.” Since there was a period of 1335 days that was mentioned in Daniel 12, 1/3 of that time would be 445 days, which would last from October 7, 2015, to December 25, 2016, the Day of the Lord, or final year of Daniel’s 70th week that starts on the Day of Atonement in 2015.
May 1, 2013, to December 25, 2016 = 1335 days
1335 X 1/3 = 445 days
October 7, 2015, to December 25, 2016 = 445 days
Has the Great Tribulation been shortened to 1/3 of the days in fulfillment of Revelation 8? Have the days of darkness that will come upon the earth been shortened to 1/3 in fulfillment of the 4th trumpet judgment?
It is also interesting that 2/3 of 666 days would be 444, almost exactly the same number of days mentioned above. John tells us to calculate the number of the beast. Could he be referring to the number of days that the Beast is actually given to rule the earth? In 2 Samuel 8, Ezekiel 5 and Zechariah 13, we see how 2/3 are struck down and 1/3 allowed to live. I believe this may be showing how that 2/3 of the days allotted for Great Tribulation are taken away or not allowed to “live”, but 1/3 remain. It can also show us that 2/3 of the 666 days are the days of death, the 444 days given to the Beast to rule. If we count from the start of October 8, 2015, to the end of December 24, 2016, there are 444 days total.
So, I see September 23, 2015, as a very likely time for the Rapture to take place right on the Day of Atonement at the end of the 49 prophetic years from June 7, 1967, when Israel was given back her land. I also see October 6/7, 2015, at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles, to be a time to watch if the Rapture does not take place on September 23, 2015. Both of these dates would be 1/3 of the possible time of the Great Tribulation, whether we start counting on March 22, 2013, when the abomination was set up, or on May 1, 2013, at the start of the 1335 days on the true 7th day of Unleavened Bread on God's calendar.
Time is short. Keep watching and know that the Lord is in control. Do not be discouraged when you see all the evil around you. Just keep your eyes focused on Him and know that we are at the end of the 6000 years and very close to the end of all things and start of the New Millennium. We will rule and reign with Christ on earth for 1000 years. Whether the rapture is tomorrow or a year and a half away, we know that our time left here is very short. The signs are all around us. It seems that almost every movie coming out now is about the end of the world or aliens. The world’s economies are on the brink of collapse. Earthquakes, sinkholes and volcanoes are going off all over the place. Comets are appearing all over the place like never before. Huge bodies of water are turning blood red all over the world, which is unprecedented. Weather patterns are becoming very strange and not normal. The laws in America are turning against Christian beliefs and persecution is starting. We’re almost there. Keep praying for the lost as their time is running out and eternity is forever. Keep the faith. Snatch others from the fire. Love the lost like Christ does and share your faith with everyone you know and meet. God bless you all.
